The Soaring Wings Award is created for a Club President who demonstrates commitment going
beyond the required level of work within a student organization. This member must exemplify a
standard of excellence in representing the college at its best and be nominated by members within the student club.
Winner of this award will receive $200.

The following must be submitted with your nomination:
a 300-word essay describing how your ASSISTANCE HAS established THE CLUB as a
success and PROPELLED the organization to new heights.
a typed written letter of recommendation from the club advisor providing
an expanded picture of the nominee’s academics, leadership accomplishments,
and/or civil involvement.
