914. RELATIONS WITH INTERMEDIATE UNIT
1. Purpose
It is the policy of this Board that open lines of communication be maintained with
the Delaware County Intermediate Unit number 25 in order to ensure maximum
effectiveness of cooperative programs.
2. Authority
SC 901 (a)
Each district has an opportunity to actively participate in the service programs
offered by the Intermediate Unit.
3. Delegation of
Responsibility
In order to maintain a constructive relationship with the Intermediate Unit, the Board
member selected/ appointed by the Board is designated as the official liaison
between the district and the Delaware County I.U. number 25.
4. Guidelines
The duties of this liaison representative are to ensure that the Board of School
Directors receives the necessary information and data that can lead to sound and
valid judgments regarding decisions which involve participation by the district in the
various programs offered by the Intermediate Unit.
