Lesson Plan Course Title: Research in Info Tech Solutions Session Title: Creating an ePortfolio Lesson Duration: Lesson length is subjective and will vary from instructor to instructor Performance Objective: Upon completion of this assignment, the student will be able to create and publish an ePortfolio that emphasizes technical and specialized skills in information technology. Specific Objectives: • Students will research and identify career interests using online career self-assessments. • Students will collaborate and interview professionals in the fields of interest. • Students will create and publish digital reflections, a written expression and a video expression, on career goals, statement of personal philosophy, and lessons learned from industry professional interviews and research. • Students will create and organize a functional resume. • Students will identify artifacts to include in an ePortfolio that showcases student passions, cross-curricular academic abilities, leadership, teamwork, and community activities. • Students will plan, create, and publish an ePortfolio website to include a statement of purpose, resume, artifacts, video reflection, letters of recommendation, and a written reflection blog.
