Chris Apps on phone conference
Journal Update: Rob/Mark
-discuss the grant
-applying for $2100
-Joseph: print less than 250. maybe 125? Have more than 1 quote for printers
-Rob: it’s ready to go. Will get 2 more quotes from printers
-Paige and Morrison to go to FASC on Wed 28th July 1pm
Mark: Undergrad Committee Meeting
-worked on 1 page document for Department of Pol Sci that asked for very much.
-Dean and President think we have 25 professors that can teach. The real number is 15.
This is a problem
-many courses will not be taught
-by offering students a good product/service, our department will not get better funding.
 How to fix this conundrum?
-Sessional budget is dead. Only way to get sessionals is by scheduling courses
downtown.
-Latin American studies may be getting cut also

-get used to larger 3rd year classes
-more W and Q courses will be added
-Rob: mark, scan the documents you have and email them to all of us. Then we will act.
THE SOCIAL:
-Anton: collaborative SFSS/DSUs event.
 looking for people capacity for Atrium
 will ask DSUs for 150$. all proceeds go to “the social Fund”
-Rob: ESS will give us $400. Paige: ISSA is interested
-Anton: please send these people to me. want 1 single message.
Transportation: Mark, Anton,
Storage: The Peak

WOMEN IN POLITICS:
-Morrison spoke to YNDP and Sophie spoke to Zoe from Human Security Report Group
Mark is trying to contact a Green. Rob has taken care of BCL. October?
Forum Update: Sophie
-agenda reviewed: academics, student society issues.
-Rob: against appointing anything
-Heated Debate. Majority vote in favour of elections at Forum.
New Business
-CJSF representative will speak to PSSU for 5 minutes about budget cuts to universities
