Subject: Approval of three revised and seven new ITU-T
Recommendations
Dear Sir/Madam,

Further to TSB Circular 194 of 7 June 1999 I hereby inform you that 15 Member States
participating in the last meeting of Study Group 9, approved the text of three draft revised and
seven new ITU-T Recommendations during its Plenary sessions held on 16 and 17 September
1999.

Annex 1 gives you the titles of the approved texts of these revised or new ITU-T
Recommendations.

Available patent information can be accessed on-line via the ITU-T Website.

The texts of these Recommendations will be published by the ITU as soon as possible.

Draft new Recommendations J.116 and J.142 which were announced for approval in
Circular 194 had substantial modifications made to them. They were redetermined at the 13-17
September meeting of Study Group 9.
