How is the information used?
Once per year, the faculty member administering the OPI reports
the results to the Spanish faculty and to the Chair. The results are
used by the Spanish Section to improve instruction, student
advising, and/or to modify learning goals or curriculum. The
Spanish Section Head is responsible for initiating warranted
changes.
Once per year, the faculty member teaching the Senior Seminar
reviews the Senior Seminar papers with the Spanish faculty. The
results are used by the Spanish Section to improve instruction,
student advising, and/or to modify learning goals or curriculum.
The Spanish Section Head is responsible for initiating warranted
changes. Copies of Senior Seminar papers are kept on file for
program review purposes.
Once per year, Senior Seminar presentations are open to the
public. Spanish faculty may attend directly or receive a report of
the results from the faculty member teaching the Senior Seminar.
The results are used by the Spanish Section to improve

curriculum. The Spanish Section Head is responsible for
