Since 1981 AIDS has killed more than 25 million people
worldwide. The SHAW 09 Witness Seminar will feature some
of the most prominent names in HIV/AIDS research and
activism in the past three decades. Involved first-hand in the
struggle over the representation of HIV/AIDS, they will talk
about their experiences and memories, and debate their
views. Their accounts will be recorded for future research
purposes. Witness the witnesses and hear their stories.
