Student Organization Fair
Encourage your student to attend the Student Organization Fair on
Thursday, February 4 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm on the second
floor of the Student Center. This is an excellent opportunity for your
student to connect with over 350 student groups on campus. Being
involved in student organizations is a great way for him or her to become
connected to campus while developing an impressive resume. It is also
an excellent opportunity to build social and interpersonal skills that will be

I Heart Travel
The College of Arts and Sciences is pleased to offer the third
annual "I Heart Travel" program February 8 through 11 to support
and promote the value of international education. Several events
will be held throughout the week highlighting various regions and
cultures. Free international cuisine will be offered and attendees will have
the chance to win $1,000 scholarships to study abroad at several of the

Salamanca Summer Study Abroad
If your student is interested in learning Spanish and study abroad, please
encourage him or her to consider participating the Salamanca program.
Students will have the opportunity to earn up to six hours of credit for
Spanish language courses while living and learning in Salamanca, Spain.
Prior experience with Spanish language is not required. The program runs
June 11 through July 9. If your student would like to learn more,
recommend he or she attend an information session on Thursday,
February 11 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm in 122 Bowman Hall. More
