1. Summary
This report provides a statistical analysis of the Kent State University 8-Campus-System enrollment for the Summer III 13 Term. The Kent State University 8-Campus-System
experienced a 1.59% decrease in unduplicated student headcount; 6,610 students in Summer III 13 compared to 6,717 students in Summer III 12 for a net decrease of 107
students. Undergraduate enrollment increased by 2.36% (122 students) and graduate enrollment decreased by 14.82% (-229 students).
Student FTE decrease by 5.11%; the Kent State University 8-Campus-System generated 45.15 less FTE compared to Summer III 12. Undergraduate FTE decreased by
0.32% (-2.18 FTE) and graduate FTE decreased by 20.43% (-42.96 FTE).
The undergraduate mean unit load (MUL) is 1.90 compared to 1.95 in Summer III 12. Graduate MUL is 1.91 compared to last year's 2.04 and the campus MUL is 1.90
compared to 1.97 last year.
Note: During Spring and Fall terms, FTE is the students' total credit hours divided by 15; during Summer terms, FTE is the students' total credit hours divided by 30.

Kent Campus and three hours at the Stark Campus, the student would be counted once at the Kent Campus and then once at the Stark Campus. Headcount
for each campus in this table is concurrent.
