The Borough last Master Plan was prepare in 1991 and included the following Elements:
• Housing Element
• Utility Services Element
• Land Use Plan Element
• Fair Share Plan
• Traffic and Circulation
• Community Facilities Plan
Since the last Master Plan adoption, the following elements have been created and
replaced those in the 1991 Master Plan:
• 1999 Reexamination Report
• 2004 Open Space and Recreation Plan
• 2005 Housing and Fair Share Element
• 2006 Reexamination Report
• 2007 Conservation Plan with Natural Resource Inventory Appendix
• 2007 Land Use Plan
• 2006 Official Zoning Map
Land Development Ordinance
The Revised General Ordinances of the Borough of Ringwood was prepared in 2005 and
amended and updated as follows:

Ordinance No. 1998-#15-rezoned Block 1100 Lot 1.01 to Special Residence
District
Ordinance No. 1999-#3-Revised “soil movement” ordinance to authorize Board
of Adjustment to hear soil movement applications within the Board’s jurisdiction.
Ordinance No. 1999-#09-Revised “area for development’ and established AFD
standards; revised certain standards in the R-40V zone, to create an R-80V zone
and to rezone certain areas of the C-200 zone. (This ordinance was part of the
1999 amendments to the Reexamination Report.)
Ordinance No. 1999-#10-Revised Design Standards for the R-40V and R-80V
districts and established a maximum gradient for driveways on large lots. (This
ordinance was part of the 1999 amendments to the Reexamination Report.)
Ordinance No. 2001-#03-Authorized and established standards for shedresidential storage as an accessory use in residential districts.
Ordinance No. 2002-#08- Modifies the principal building height requirements in
the R-40V and R-80V residential districts.
Ordinance No. 2003-#8-Modifies the area, bulk and yard requirements of the I120 Industrial Zone.
