-Photovoice Information Meeting next Friday February 13th, 5-6 pm SC
Rm 302. This meeting is for anyone interested in finding out more
information and to sign up for participating! The theme is “What Inspires
You” and the event will be held on Sunday March 29th, 12-4 pm. If
anyone would like to help in the process of making this event happen,
please email me :)

-Tip: Taking regular breaks can boost productivity and improve our ability

 Greek Week
- If you have themes and your chapters choice of game for Greek Week
from your Greek Week Captains please tell me, or turn them in after
meeting.
-Greek Week Captain’s Meeting is February 12th from 5-6 PM Room 330.

Make- A-Wish
-Currently have $39 raised for Greek Week, so thank you to Sigma Kappa,
Alpha Kappa Lambda and Sigma Delta Tau for those donations. We have
841 people in our Greek Life here. If each person donated $12 by April
8th we could easily fundraise $10,000, which is enough to grant TWO
wishes. So skip out on that large pizza once, or a couple trips to Taco Bell
and donate $12 to Make-A-Wish!
 Service Challenge Update
-CPC has currently done 5,214.5 hours of service since the beginning of
last semester!! As of Wednesday, February 4th. The ceremony will be
April 7th from 6pm-7:30pm. Relay for Life will not be counting as
Service hours for the challenge.

What are your chapter's values?
Our chapter values Friendship, Loyalty, Personal Growth, and Service.
How many chapters does your organization have? How many members
are in your organization? We have more than 110 chapters in 36 states.
We have more than 152,000 members worldwide.
When did your chapter join the Panhellenic community?
Sigma Kappa became a member of the Panhellenic community in 1905
What is your chapter's mission statement?
The purpose of Sigma Kappa Sorority it to provide women lifelong
opportunities and support for social, intellectual, and spiritual
development by bringing women together to positively impact our
communities.
What are some fun facts about your organization that members may be
surprised to know?
The first female US senator was a Sigma Kappa.
The character Rachel from the tv show Boy Meets World was a Sigma
Kappa. The first nutritionist ever for Weight Watchers was a Sigma
Kappa. Becca on this season of ABC's "The Bachelor" is a Sigma Kappa.
What are some of the big events that your chapter holds or that your
organization has?
We volunteer at the Walk to End Alzheimer's every fall for one of our
philanthropies which is Gerontology with a focus in Alzheimer's. Also,
every fall we have our annual Turkey Bingo around Thanksgiving to raise
money for our philanthropies and every spring we have our annual Sigma
Kappa pancake dinner to raise money for our philanthropies.
Where are your headquarters located?
Our headquarters are located in Indianapolis, Indiana.
What is your chapter's philanthropies?
Gerontology with a focus in Alzheimer's, Maine Seacoast Mission, and
Inherit the Earth.

How many founders do you have? Why are their names?
We have five founders. Mary Caffrey Low Carver, Ida Mabel Fuller
Pierce, Louise Helen Coburn, Elizabeth Gorham Hoag, and Francis Elliot
Mann Hall.
Panhellenic Pride Week
-Panhellenic Pride Week is next week! Enclosed is a list of all the events
to show our love and support for each other.
 Dues
-Dues will be going out next week. They will be due two weeks after the
invoice has been received. Any additional members added to the roster
will be charged on a per member bases.

 Social Policy Article III: Rules and Regulations
Section 3
- There should be a gap between when stopping alcohol and removing guests
from the party. Should cut off serving drinking 45 minutes before the end of
the event. However, adding a time cut off limit could cause problems for
formal and semi- formal.
Section 5
- What is the reason that there has be a 21 year old sober event? The reasoning
is most likely that 21 year old who has been exposed to alcohol and more
experience to chapter.
Section 7
- Subsection F what is wrong with your tumblers and squeeze bottles? They
allow alcohol to be consumed quicker by using a straw.
What is the definition of a party ball? There has been vagueness around this
but it holds a large amount of alcohol that could be seen similar to a keg.
- Subsection C what is a malt beverage?
- Subsection J Community concern is this subsection being followed.
At all registered parties there is supposed to be an alcohol check. Should be
codified to say that the alcohol should be checked in at the moment when the
guest check in.
Add punch card or tickets.
Alcohol is capitalized but should not be.
- Subsection I should not use the word ample because it is a vague word.
- Subsection L should be clarified
Section 11
- Does this apply to two organization in the same council or as a Greek
Community? Clarification is no more than two parties from the same
organization.
- Should add a subsection about bread is not considered a non- salty snack
