QUAL Access Procedure
1.0 Purpose
To ensure a stable and effective environment for the Banner QUAL instance. By limiting access in QUAL to
specific requests tied to projects or production problems, the environment can be maintained in a controlled manner
for testing and staging of elements for migration to the production (BERP) instance.

3.0 Procedure
This procedure applies to any staff member, functional and/or technical, who may need access for testing in QUAL.
Project Lead (project) or designee
Complete request for QUAL access within MoveIT
1. Begin and End Dates. Required
2. EID required
3. NetID Required
4. Whether or not the user needs INB or Applications Manager access
5. Whether or not the INB password needs to be reset
Operations
Approves and implements request
1. Receive MoveIT request
2. Analyze request for completeness and approve or deny request as appropriate
3. Run job in Applications Manager, using information from MoveIT request, to give users access to QUAL
4. An email is sent to user notifying him or her that the access has been granted
4.0 Responsibility for Implementation
The Director of Enterprise Operations or designee is responsible for implementation of this procedure.
