INFOD-WG F2F and GGF18
There was a face-to-face meeting held over the weekend before the GGF event.
In it we discussed:
 The feedback received from the reviewers of the INFOD base specification.
This included extensive input from the WSN community.
 Progress with INFOD implementations
 Preparation for the main GGF meeting
 Various pending issues – including the precise role of the disseminator in the
INFOD model and the role of “Beacons” and “PO Boxes”. The aim of this
being to try to pin down what would go into a further specification.
Steve Fisher replaced Susan Malaika as co-chair. Dieter Gawlick remains as the other
co-chair.
As usual the F2F meeting was much more useful than the formal GGF session
