About 250 residents gathered to discuss
the Cross Charlotte Trail….
this is what we heard!
We asked attendees: “How will you use the trail?”
Dots and sticky notes were placed, telling us how the trail will be used
Adding up all the responses, the most popular options were biking,
walking, and shopping, errands, and restaurants
We then asked attendees: “Where will you go along the trail?”
Dots were placed around popular destinations along the trail,
and sticky notes told us about other places
Four “Connections” boards were provided to allow feedback on the many
different trail destinations
There are clearly many popular destinations along
this segment of the Cross Charlotte Trail…
Park Road Shopping Center, Freedom Park, and Montford were the Top 3 choices
Finally, we asked “what would you like to see along the trail?”
Attendees had plenty of good ideas of
what to include along the trail
The Top 3 desired Amenities were water fountains, trail etiquette signs,
and lighting.
