Relationship of Privacy Concern issues on Retail Costumer’s
Purchase Behavior: An empirical Study on Emerging Market
of Pakistan

Nowadays customers are more concerned about the privacy of information about their
purchase behavior and personal information. This study analyzes the degree to which the
customers are concerned about their information gathering process and how that
information is used, their knowledge and awareness of data collection, the relationship
between purchase behavior and privacy concerns, relationship between privacy concerns
and demographics. The results of the study show that demographic market segments
have varied findings about the use of privacy information. Consumer’s purchasing
behaviors on the internet play a significant role in determining privacy roles.
