Comprehensive Framework of Strategy Codification of
Isfahan Power Station with Marketing Direction

In today’s world, many changes accompanied by increased competition in various
areas, especially in markets are seen. Every organization with every size is faced
with rapid changes and developments, and has to set and manage its activities in a
way that be successful and stable in the fluctuated and competitive atmosphere of
market. Power stations must choose the best strategy regarding their vital role and
changing the environmental circumstances and creating electricity market to
overcome their rivals. In this research, comprehensive framework was used to codify
Isfahan power station’s strategy with marketing direction. First, the mission‘s
manifesto and outlook of the organization were determined and then in the input
stage, the company’s status analysis was estimated according to evaluation matrix of
external factors and evaluation matrix of internal factors. In the analogy stage, the
internal and external matrix and matrix SWOT were constituted and its competition
and analogy were characterized via investigation matrix with the country’s 5 main
power stations including (Shahid Montazeri power station of Isfahan, Bandar Abbas
power station, Bistoon power station of Kermanshah, Tabriz power station, Besat
power station of Tehran) and through programming matrix of quantitative strategy,
different options of the strategy were determined in the decision – making stage, then
some questionnaires were distributed among the decision marker managers due to
opting the best strategy which were judged after evaluation and analogy and the best
strategy was identified for Isfahan power station which was (Improvement of financial
resources by adaptation with electricity market criteria and optimization and
promotion of technology level).
