Philosophy of Care

Clinical Interests

I believe that my patients deserve excellent care for their vision, eye and systemic health, which are all intertwined. By listening and working with my patients and discussing various options, we can accomplish optimal results. I use my skills, experience, advancing and new technologies to benefit my patients each day.

Dr. Barnett's clinical interests include anterior segment disease, dry eye, Sjögren's Syndrome, contact lenses, keratoconus, scleral lenses, multifocal contact lenses and specialty contact lenses.

Research/Academic Interests Current research studies are on the progression of dry eyes in Sjögren's Syndrome and scleral lenses for normal corneas.
