Research Funding
$144,764 each year for 2 years (2014-2016). Site PI for “Patient Centered Recovery
Program.” Two-year multi-campus CHQI research grant from the University Office of the
President to expand a UC San Diego founded program to UC Davis. A substance abuse
counselor has been hired to conduct SBIRT interventions and increase access to substance
abuse resources for patients with co-occuring mental illness and substance abuse seeking
emergency room treatment.
