Kiritkumar P. Lathia
He is Vice President – Strategy & Positioning with
Siemens ICN SpA, Italy. He is responsible at corporate
level for coordinating all strategic business activities
related with technical standards and regulation.
Mr. Lathia has more than 25 years of management
experience in telecommunications industry at all stages
of life cycle – from synthesizing customer requirements
to on-site testing and handover to customer.
Within standardization, Mr. Lathia is active in strategic
committees of ETSI to ensure that ETSI standards play
an important role in global marketplace. He is Vice
Chairman of ITU-T SSG and European ICT Standards
Board.
Mr. Lathia graduated from University of Wales, UK with
Magna cum Laude in Electrical Engineering. He is a
Charted Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of
Electrical Engineers.
