Managing QoS in the home environment for multiservices distribution
Jean-François Cadiou graduated of a doctorate degree from the university of Rennes in 1996 and from a
french school of engineer 'Institut National des Sciences Appliquées' INSA in 1993. He also holds a Master
degree in "Electronics and opto-electronics" from the university of Rennes.
From 1996 to 1998 he joined Alcatel Research Labs in Marcoussis (France), devolopping very high speed
electronic drivers for terrestrial optical networks up to 40Gb/s. Since 1998 he has joined FTR&D in Lannion
(France) as a project manager involved in access network and home networks evolutions. Since 2005 He is
currently expert architect in access and home networks. During the last period, he has been involved in
many European project such as FRANS, HIGHWAY, @HOM, EPERSPACE and he is currently chairman of
the QoS WG in the HomeGateway Initiative.
