Congratulations to Wesley Davison for being elected as IPCR Senator! As a member of the
SIS Graduate Council, Wesley will be an important voice for IPCR students and student
groups. Wesley is currently the Treasurer of the Society for Peace and Conflict Resolution
at AU and has extensive experience within student and academic groups from his
undergraduate time at Wheaton College.

American University Negotiation Project
American University Negotiation Project (AUNP) is a forum for those interested in practicing and
improving their negotiation skills. AUNP hosts skills workshops, simulations and other events
throughout the semester centered on these skills. AUNP also prioritizes hosting guest speakers to
enhance our simulations and provide valuable background information for each specific topic.

Creative Peace Initiatives
Creative Peace Initiatives (CPI) has a goal to promote creative peacebuilding locally and globally. CPI
creates opportunities in the Washington, D.C. area for these initiatives through: (1) Service Program, (2)
Trainings, Conferences and Speakers, (3) Networking Opportunities. Although currently inactive, we
are looking for new members to join and revive the group.

Society for Peace and Conflict Resolution (SPCR) seeks to empower IPCR students to become more
engaged in international affairs, particularly global conflict resolution, peace activism, and social justice.
SPCR also acts as an advocate for IPCR students among the SIS administration.

iTrek Public Policy Trip to Israel
Israel & Co offers trips to motivated and organized graduate students with an interest in peacebuilding.
This is an opportunity for a fully-funded 7-10 day trip to Israel with an entire student group, which can be
organized independently or by a professor. By connecting participants with organizations in Israel that
are of interest to them, iTrek is a great experience to meet with leaders in various fields.

If you are in good academic standing and have completed at least 18 credits of graduate
coursework, you are eligible to apply for any SIS Practicum. For more information on SIS
