Areas of Practice
Lisa Poplawski is a business attorney who focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, securities,
corporate finance and corporate governance. She advises on matters of general corporate law,
including the formation of corporations, LLCs and other entities, capitalization and compliance
transactions, contract negotiations, and various regulatory matters including Hart-Scott-Rodino
compliance and premerger notification analysis. At Berkeley Law, Lisa received special accreditation
for her focus in business law, which included counseling entrepreneurs enrolled in the Haas School of
Business MBA program in startup venture organization and financing.
