Areas of Practice
Laura Marquez-Garrett is Co-chair of the Firm’s Electronic Discovery, Technology and Strategy
Practice Group, as well as the Privacy and Data Security Practice Group. She is also a member of
the Litigation, Securities Litigation, Mortgage and Consumer Finance, Class Action Defense, and
Director and Officer Liability Practice Groups. Laura has an active litigation practice, focusing on
complex litigation in areas of consumer finance, securities, real estate, consumer protection, class
action defense, white collar defense, and investigations and enforcement proceedings involving
the Washington State Department of Financial Institutions and U.S. Securities and Exchange
Commission. She also advises companies on eDiscovery policies, protocol and litigation.
