PLEASE NOTE: The LPCC is an additional license. The MS in Counseling: option in MFCC currently meets the educational requirements needed for licensure as an MFT in
California with no additional coursework. COUN 280T Substance Abuse and COUN 280T Psychopharmacology meet the requirements for both MFT and LPCC licensure.
D Students will choose either Comp Exam with 4-units of electives, or COUN 298 with 0 –units of electives, or COUN 299 with 0-units of electives. LPCC or PPS required courses can be
used as electives.
