 Fall 2014
First-‐year students may enroll in one of the FYS classes below by talking with their academic advisor. The academic content of FYS classes is the same as other sections of the same course, but enrollment is limited to first-‐year students in sections of 22 or fewer. FYS classes emphasize communication, critical thinking, and community building. Students benefit from a learning environment built around engagement, interaction, and application of concepts.
Students who want to take a GENBA section should contact Bente Janda (bjanda@ksu.edu or 532-‐6180) or an advisor in the College of Business. Students who want to take a PHYS course should contact Tracy Tuttle (trtuttle@phys.ksu.edu or 532-‐1605) or an advisor in the Department of Physics. Honors sections require permission from the University Honors Program (ksuhonors@k-‐state.edu). Questions? Email us at kstatefirst@k-‐state.edu or cal us at (785) 320-‐1221 (anytime) or (785) 532-‐7803 (June O&E).
NOTE: [CAT Comm Sec] = FYS section with seats reserved for students in linked CAT Community.
