ATTACHMENT 5 RESOLUTION 12/08/15 SMOKING ON CAMPUS BY: WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, Kansas State University Faculty Senate Kansas State University is in the process of finalizing plans to reduce or eliminate smoking on the campuses of the university, and More than 900 institutions across the nation, including several in Kansas, have completely banned tobacco products on their campuses, and There will be financial and health costs for our community until a full tobacco ban is realized. BE IT RESOLVED THAT: SECTION 1. We, the Faculty Senate of Kansas State University, support a complete ban on tobacco products on our campuses at this time, and encourage the administration to develop plans to accomplish this sooner rather than later. SECTION 2.
