Re: Grievance actions during the 2009 -2010 Academic Year
During the 2009-2010 academic year, one Appendix G hearing was heard by the University’s
General Grievance Board as follows:
One grievance from the College of Technology and Aviation, KSU, Salina, was filed and heard
in an open hearing (requested) with the University’s General Grievance Board. A final report
was prepared with recommendations that were provided to President Schultz, the grievant, and
the respondents.
Two additional sets of grievance materials were submitted by faculty members during the Spring
semester. I postponed accepting one case, as mediation seemed to be a possibility. The other
case was submitted late in the semester, and any possible action was delayed until the first day of
classes of the Fall semester.
