Assessment: What did you learn about the frequency/importance of the child’s behavior?
BF tends to use physical aggression during play. BF is 50 months of age, and is expected to
begin internalizing classroom rules (social-emotional stage of Initiative vs. Guilt).
Extension: How would you respond to help the child change his / her behavior?
DV can integrate activities to promote self-regulation in her weekly planning, to help BF learn the
rules of the classroom and use verbal language to communicate rather than aggression.
