Erasmus+ Ambassadors Agreement
The Erasmus+ Ambassador Group was set up in order to help promote the programme through
talks and events and to provide feedback from the beneficiaries of the scheme to the UK National
Agency – the British Council, in partnership with Ecorys UK. The Erasmus+ Ambassador’s role will
be to help in the pro-active promotion of the programme. This activity does involve some time and
commitment and by requesting to become an Ambassador you agree to the following:
• To support the British Council and Ecorys UK (the UK National Agency) in promoting the
Erasmus+ programme through marketing activities such as case studies, web references, press
stories, leaflets, etc;
• To give at least one talk/attend one event with/on behalf of the UK National Agency in 2015/16 if
requested (all travel expenses are reimbursed by the UK National Agency for such events with
prior agreement); and/or speak at a school or university event in your local area – at least one in
2015/16 – in liaison with your Erasmus+ Coordinator;
• To be included on the UK National Agency Erasmus Ambassadors email list and join the UK
National Agency Ambassadors’ closed Facebook group and be an active member on the site;
• Register with your Institution’s Erasmus /International officer as an Erasmus+ Ambassador and
take a pro-active approach in supporting local/institutional events whenever possible, such as
fresher fairs, European weeks and evening talks.
