Preliminary experiments in lysates of cell lines A431 and HeLa gave no specific
signal but low background (at antibody concentration up to 1µg/ml). We would
appreciate any feedback from people in the field - have any results been reported
with other antibodies/lysates?

correlates with increased concentration of
oxytocin, as described in literature.
The cells were incubated at 37°C for 15
minutes in media containing different
concentrations of ab120186 (oxytocin) in
DMSO, fixed with 4% formaldehyde for 10
minutes at room temperature and blocked
with PBS containing 10% goat serum, 0.3 M
glycine, 1% BSA and 0.1% tween for 2h at
room temperature. Staining of the treated
cells with ab87312 (5 µg/ml) was performed
overnight at 4°C in PBS containing 1% BSA
and 0.1% tween. A DyLight 488 donkey antigoat polyclonal antibody (ab96931) at 1/250
dilution was used as the secondary antibody.
Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI and are
shown in blue.

using 0.4% Triton X-100, blocked with 10%
serum for 1 hour at 25°C and then incubated
with ab87312 at a 1/150 dilution for 16 hours
at 4°C. The secondary used was an AlexaFluor 594 conjugated donkey anti-goat IgG
