The Student Union is run by students, for students
The SU is a self-sustaining organisation using the
revenue from food and drink outlets to fund other

If you haven’t done this already, complete your online

You won’t be able to collect your ID card until you have
done this. There are computer stations in Student
Reception (Senate House)

ID cards can be collected from Student Reception, Senate

Non-EEA Students or Students from Switzerland

ID cards will only be issued once enrolment staff have verified the information entered
at online enrolment against the documents provided. Scanned copies will be taken in
order to comply with UKVI regulations
– you will need to bring your passport and visa or UK residence card
•
If you are applying for a Tier 4 visa from overseas to come to the UK for longer than 6
months you will be issued with a 30 day temporary travel visa to enter the UK
•
You will need to collect a Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) within 10 days of your
arrival in the UK. This BRP will be your visa which is valid for the full duration of your

Module Selection
• Module registration is an academic matter. Your departmental Study Abroad coordinator or undergraduate office staff will be able to help with this.
• Most departments have a registration process for their modules. You must
follow this process to ensure that you are on listings for lectures and included in
seminar groups.
• When selecting your modules, registering for the correct method of assessment
is as important as registering for the module itself.
For information 1 Warwick CATS credit = 0.5 ECTS
A standard full year module is generally 30 CATS = 15 ECTS
Assessment Selection
There will be several options for assessment methods, incorrect selection could
result in a ZERO mark on your Study Record or no seat in an examinations hall.
Please take the time to work with your department on ensuring that you have made
the correct module selection and method of assessment.

• University of Warwick’s online module registration system
• Allows the exams team to register you for examinations
• Updates the University of Warwick student records system to
record your marks, so that your academic record can be
produced
• Open for students from 11 – 29 January 2016
Any changes that need to be made after this date will require the
authorisation of the Pro-Vice Chancellor for Education (Quality
Standards). This will only be given in exceptional circumstances.

HEAR
Higher Education Achievement Record
With effect from 2014/2015 the University of Warwick was able to
provide full year Study Abroad undergraduate students with a HEAR. It
is proposed that with effect from 2015/2016 all Study Abroad
undergraduate students will be provided with a HEAR.
The HEAR is the equivalent of a transcript and is an electronic record of
your academic achievements for the time that you spend with us.
You will be contacted later in the term to set up an account to allow
your HEAR to be produced. Please action this email straight away. The
instructions allow you access to the electronic system to download your
HEAR certificate.
