Applications on plain paper are invited to fill up some vacant posts of Senior Residents and
Demonstrators in following specialties on contract basis of Pt. B.D. Sharma Post Graduate Institute of Medical
Sciences (P.G.I.M.S.), Rohtak for a period of six months or till tenure incumbents join, whichever is earlier. The
applications, complete in all respects, alongwith certificates/ testimonials in support of educational qualifications,
permanent registration with the MCI/ State Medical Council, proof of date of birth, proof of thesis grading, attempt
certificate in UG/PG Course and the National /International paper published alongwith any other documents in
support of additional qualifications i.e. medals, prizes, publications etc. must reach the O/O Assistant Registrar,
UHS, Rohtak preferably well before the date of interview. The eligible candidates may appear for walk-in –
interview on 11.8.2015_ at 9:30AM in the office of the Vice-Chancellor, Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health
Sciences, Rohtak and interview will start at 11:00AM. The applicants must also mention their complete

DEMONSTRATORS
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE of Senior Residents/Demonstrators
SENIOR RESIDENT
1. MBBS from any Institution/University recognized by the MCI.
2. MD/MS in the subject concerned. In case the candidates having MD/MS qualifications are not available,
the candidates having diploma in the subject concerned or training experience of 3 years as PG student in
the subject will be considered for appointment.
3. Must be registered under the State/Central Medical Registration Act.
DEMONSTRATOR
1. MBBS from any institution/university recognized by the MCI.
2. Must be registered under the State/Central Medical Registration Act.
3. Preference will be given to Postgraduate Candidates.
4. In the subject of Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, candidates possessing M.Sc. (Medical)
qualifications in the subject concerned are also eligible to apply.
Age:
Not less than 22 years and not more than 40 years upto the date of interview The benefit of relaxation in upper
age limit in respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST,BC,ESM etc. will be as per Haryana Govt. instructions
issued from time to time and is restricted to Haryana domiciles only..
Consolidated Salary: Rs. 31,000/-to MD/MS/DNB Degree Holders and Rs. 23,000/- Non PG (Diploma/MBBS) (likely to
be revised).
Note:
1. Number of posts is liable to increase or decrease either way, including complete withdrawal.
2. No separate interview letter will be sent.
3. Age and qualification will be counted upto the date of interview.
4. Those students who are doing MD/ MS Course, on selection as Sr. Resident/Demonstrator will have to
discontinue their MD/MS Course before joining the post.
