INSTALLATION PROCEDURES
• Position Trim Insert, Trim Plate and LED Module together as shown (Fig. 1)
• Using the (4) small Philips head screws (included), insert screws into the back of the LED Module securing all components together. (Fig. 1)
• For exterior applications, place the black gasket (provided) into position as shown (Fig. 2).
• Connect the supply leads from the electrical outlet box to the fixture wire leads using wire nuts (not provided). ALWAYS CONNECT WHITE
TO WHITE AND BLACK TO BLACK. (Fig. 2)
• Position Steplight module into J-box while carefully tucking excess wire out of the way.
• Attach Steplight module to J-box using (2) large outlet box screws. NOTE: Extra screws are provided, including optional Hex Head screws for
vandal resistant applications.
• Note orientation of trim plate for proper installation (especially in wet locations) and to ensure proper cutoff.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
• Read all the instructions before installation. Save instructions for later use.
• Turn off power at fuse or circuit breaker box before installation or before doing any maintenance work.
• Product must be grounded to avoid potential electric shock and any other potential hazards.
• Product must be mounted in locations and at heights and in a manner consistent with its intended use, and in compliance with National
Electrical Code and local codes. Use of accessory equipment is not recommended.
• Installing contrary to instructions may cause unsafe conditions.
• Do not block light from the trim aperture, in whole or in part, as this may cause unsafe conditions.
• Warning: Risk of fire. Most dwellings built before 1985 have supply wire rated at 60°C. Consult a qualified electrician before installation.
• To avoid hazards to children, account for all parts and properly dispose of all packing materials.
