Designed for applications where high performance is required.
Aluminum heat sink prevents lamp overheating.
Socket position adjusts 1-1/2" for various distribution patterns.
Pre-installed bar hangers for 24" span with built-in nailers and T-bar mount.
Optional commercial mounting kit (RL-KIT) provides up to 5" of vertical
adjustment. May be used with 27" flat bar hanger set (HB-24) for
installation to T-bar, grid or concealed spline ceiling construction, or 25"
C-channel hanger bar set (HBC-24) for grid ceiling applications.
Lamp/Electrical
RL420: (1) 20W PAR20 Ceramic Metal Halide lamp, E26 medium base.
RL439: (1) 39W PAR20 Ceramic Metal Halide lamp, E26 medium base.
Large junction box is easily accessed from above or below the ceiling.
Junction box has (8) 1/2" knockouts, (2) concentric 1/2" - 3/4" knockouts
and (8) Romex knockouts.
Electronic Ballast

Option of 120V or 277V for 50/60Hz operation.
Constant power design adjusts to line and lamp voltage fluctuations,
reducing lamp color variations and providing good color rendition.
Extends lamp life up to 20% longer than magnetic ballasts. End-of-life
circuit and thermal protection for maximum safety.
Class A sound rating meets indoor application requirements.
20W CMH: 24W input; 0.21A @ 120V, 0.10A @ 277V.
39W CMH: 44W input; 0.39A @ 120V, 0.17A @ 277V.

Trims
Commercial Grade trims available in several different finishes with white
trim flanges.
Specification Grade trims have a high quality Alzak™ low iridescence finish
and are optically designed for maximum lumen output. Available with white
painted flange.

All trims have white trim finish unless specified.
Maximum lamp rating is determined by ballast choice. All trims are cULus listed.
All trims are suitable for damp locations; only shower trims are listed for wet locations.
Specification Grade Trims
One piece ALZAK™ reflector. Spun parabolic contour provides 40° cutoff
to lamp and lamp image. Optically designed for superior light control. All
reflector finishes are low iridescent to eliminate the rainbowing effect.
Self-flanged trim design that produces a smooth transition from fixture to
ceiling. Custom finishes are available, consult Con-Tech for details. White
painted flange available. Add “-WPF” after the catalog number.
