reported in the article:

Louisiana During the First Academic Year After the Hurricanes of 2005,” Journal of
Education for Students Placed at Risk, Vol. 13, 2008, pp. 168-211.
This research was conducted within RAND Education and the RAND Gulf States Policy
Institute (RGSPI). RAND Education is a division of the RAND Corporation. Its mission is to
bring accurate data and careful, objective analysis to the national debate on education policy.
