Installing CDATA 2001 Release 2 – Revision 2.0 patch file.
The CDATA 2001 Release 2 - Revision 2.0 patch file contains further fixes for
minor software faults detected in the CDATA 2001 Release 2 product\s.
IMPORTANT POINTS:
A) Please ensure you have Full Administrator Access to Windows.
B) Please ensure that MapInfo & CDATA 2001 Release 2 programs are not
opened during the installation process.
C) Please also ensure that no other programs are opened during the installation
process.
System Requirements.
Before you install the CDATA 2001 Release 2 – Revision 2.0 patch file, please
make sure your computer system satisfies the following prerequisites.
Order of Installation for CDATA 2001 products
The following procedures should be followed, and assumes that you have been
supplied with the unlock codes for the various products.
Please ensure that the CDATA 2001 products have been installed in the following
order;
1. Install MapInfo - (Licence number required)
2. Install CDATA 2001 Release 2 - (Registration code required).
3. If you have purchased the additional CDATA 2001 Add-on Datapacks product,
please install CDATA 2001 Add-on Datapacks - (Unlock code required).
4. If you have purchased the additional SEIFA 2001 Add-on Datapack product,
please install SEIFA 2001 Add-On - (Unlock code required).
5. Install CDATA 2001 Release 2 - Revision 1.0 Patch file.
5. Install CDATA 2001 Release 2 - Revision 2.0 Patch file.
2. Disk Space:
* To successfully install the CDATA 2001 Release 2 – Revision 2.0 patch file,
you will require 40 MB of free hard disk space.
Please follow the instructions below to install the CDATA 2001 Release 2 –
Revision 2.0 patch file.
Step 1.
Start up Windows.
From the Start menu, select Run (for Windows NT, select Run from the Program
Manager File menu).
In the Run dialog, enter the CD-ROM drive name (e.g. in this case, F:\) followed
by CDATA 2001 Release 2 – Revision 2.0\CDATA 2001 Release 2 – Revision
2.0.exe and press OK.
(Alternatively, you can press Browse and search for the setup program.)
The CDATA 2001 Release 2 - Revision 2.0 welcome screen displays.
Follow the prompts and instructions to move through the setup wizard.
At each setup screen, press Next to move to the next screen, or Back to return to
the previous screen.
On completion, the installer suggests you restart your computer.
Restart the computer.

SOFTWARE FIXES – CDATA 2001 Release 2 – Revision 2.0 patch file
1. The CDATA 2001 Help files have been updated.
2. The Revision 2.0 patch file corrects the problem of users receiving the
following error message when obtaining Standard Reports;
3. CDATA 2001 Add-On Datapack – Indigenous Persons Profile.
If user attempt to obtain all the data from table IO4 Type of Educational
Institution Attending (FT\PT) by Indigenous Status by Sex they will receive an
error message table they will receive an error message. The full label is not
displayed during the Add Data process for the following data item;
Not Stated Secondary - Total Persons (cell I858).
This problem is corrected after the running of the Revision 2.0 patch file.
Data Fixes in CDATA 2001 Release 2 – Revision 2.0 patch file
1. Correction of Queensland Prison Data - See Census Alert 94
The updated data files for the 'Expanded Community Profile' table X45 Type
Of Non-private Dwelling are installed under the application path.
Ie. If CDATA 2001 Release 2 was installed to the default directory the
updated files would be installed to;
C:\Program Files\CDATA 2001 Release 2\BDY etc.
2. Correction of Table T22 for Statistical Local Areas for the following states(
ACT, NSW, NT, QLD, SA & VIC).
Previously the Mean Age may have been shown as -2 where it should be n.a
(not applicable)
The updated data files for the 'Times Series Profile' table T22 Selected
Averages(a) are installed under the application path.
Ie. If CDATA 2001 Release 2 was installed to the default directory the
updated files would be installed to;
C:\Program Files\CDATA 2001 Release 2\BDY etc.
