6:05pm (2) Discussion:
(2a) Student enrollment, still maxed and turning students away
(2b) PT faculty position/ lost newly hired Mindy Bacon, took position with
Coast Guard as an inspector, hired April Sanders at 20 hr/wk
(2c) CTE loses Dean Jeff Cummings, and gains Marla Gleave
(2d) Overview WT Program Review, including learning outcomes
(2e) Facility updates/ roof over backyard/ maybe WT moves to DT area?
(2f) For professional development Danny Walker attended Weld-Ed seminar-Welding Certification at Hawaii Community College in Hilo, and will attend TSTC at Waco, Texas for Metallurgy this summer.
6:25pm (3) Tour the facility, examine welding equipment and area.
(3a) Backyard facility roof/wall and approved $150k, and DT area
6:30pm (4) Install committee members as advisory leaders
6:55pm (5) Overview discussion and recommendations
7:00pm (6) Schedule next meeting and adjournment
