One of the greatest challenges today for business is forecasting and adapting to change.
Staff engagement, skills and job progression are part of these changes and are drivers to
increased productivity and ultimately economic growth at both a local and national level.
For this to happen there is a role for many to play, including employers, government,
local economic partnerships and education providers.
This major conference will debate:
• what support is needed to create a virtuous circle of higher skills, jobs progression and ultimately improved business performance
• what are the characteristics of the future jobs landscape, what skills will
be needed and how these can be developed against a background of technological innovation.
