Minutes of the Professional Standards Committee
November 15, 1999
Present: Bristow, Butcher, Cooney, Hanson, Mann, K. Miller, Ragan, Share, Sloane
Bruce Mann, chair, called the meeting to order at 9:05 a.m.
Minutes from the November 8 meeting were approved.
The Committee began discussion of the History Department guidelines for tenure and
promotion.
At the end of the hour the chair announced that the Committee would discuss the English
Department guidelines for tenure and promotion at the next meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:55 a.m.
