A resolution to install bird deterrents on the new MTSU Student Services and Admissions
Center
Whereas:
The new Student Services and Admissions Center (SACC) contains a mostly
glass exterior that causes birds to fly into the building;
Whereas:
There are numerous, effective options to deter birds from flying into windows.
THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED BY THE 76TH CONGRESS OF THE STUDENT
GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE STATE UNIVERSITY
THAT:
Section 1:
Middle Tennessee State University shall install a bird deterrent, such as “terror
eyes” or bird feeders at the SSAC to prevent fly-ins and protect the health of birds
on campus.
Section 2:
Deterrents will be installed upon favorable passage by the Student Government
Association.
