Cameron hires new student activities director

Courtney Hardin has assumed the responsibilities as Cameron University’s new Director of Student

Activities.

Hardin earned her bachelor’s degree from East Central University in 2002 and her Master of Education from the University of Arkansas this past spring. While attending graduate school, Hardin served as advisor for the programming board at UA, where she was voted advisor of the year out of nearly 250 organization advisors. This recognition is particularly impressive in the realm of student activities, as the recipient must be student nominated.

Among Hardin’s duties will be planning and coordinating campus activities and community service opportunities for students. More specifically, she will work with the CU Student Government Association and the university’s Programming Activities Council. Hardin will also advise student organizations, Greek organizations and the Presidential Leaders University Scholars (PLUS) program’s first-year students.

Hardin is a member of the National Association for Campus Activities and National Association of Student

Personnel Administrators.
