A. Previous experience:
a. What previous professional or academic experiences have influenced your decision to
apply to the UCL Institute of Education (IOE) and to this programme? (200-250 words)
B. Your approach to study:
a. Given your existing academic and professional experiences, what topics, issues and
content do you wish to learn about from a programme of study at UCL IOE? What are
your experiences of distance/online learning? (Please keep in mind that good internet
access is required) (250-300 words)
C. Use of learning
a. In which ways do you envisage you will use the knowledge and skills you will gain on
the programme? What impact do you hope to have on your immediate colleagues
and/or your professional community? In what ways will the Scholarship enable you to
build on your current networks and make a fuller contribution to social and educational
development nationally and internationally? (350-400 words)
