1. At least one course (3 hours) must be taken at
the 300-400 level. This course must be outside the
department of the major. For example, MUS 304
meets the P5 requirement, but does not satisfy the
upper-level requirement for music majors.
2. As of Fall of 2006, a course used to meet
Liberal Studies requirements may also be used to
satisfy a requirement in the major, minor, or other
program requirements. For example, one of the
courses used to meet the foreign language
requirement for the B.A. program (eg., SPAN 101
or 102) may also be used to meet the Liberal
Studies P6 category.
