Living Within Your Means (90 minutes) held on Tuesday afternoons from 12:30-2 p.m.

“Living within Your Means” is defined as spending only the amount of money you make. Paying of debt is a matter of breaking it down into small manageable pieces. Over time, consistent effort toward debt reduction will show progress.

Finding Employment & Resume Writing (90 minutes) held on Thursday mornings from 10-11:30 a.m.

How do you persuade a potential employer to believe you are the perfect candidate for a position?

Your resume’, cover letter and application form are what the company will use to get a “first impression” of you. In order to secure the job of your dreams, you must have a resume that is a reflection of you and your skills and be formatted perfectly. Prepare, manage and organize the application process by implementing the Sunday Evening Plan of updating your application documents weekly. Cover Letter and Preparation for the Interview (90 minutes) held on Thursday afternoons from 12:30 – 2 p.m.

It is critical that your cover letter sell you and your skills and be formatted perfectly—“you only get one chance to make a good first impression”. Preparation for an interview includes research on the company, anticipating questions and rehearsing your responses, planning your outfit for the interview, and your communication immediately following the interview.
