What is the QTA® System?
The QTA® (Quality Trait Analysis) System is an
analytical service providing rapid, on-site
analysis and data management. We combine
highly advanced Infrared instrumentation
with a quick and easy user interface,
enabling anyone to perform many analyses
on a single sample within two minutes
usually with no sample preparation.
When customers contract with Eurofins QTA, they can analyze their B100, glycerine,
incoming oil, or in-process samples. The instrument communicates over the internet
with the analysis process and calibrations are continuously managed. The QTA® System’s
central processor, calculates the results, returns them to the user, and stores the data for
future retrieval.

The QTA® System method
The QTA® System method, AOCS Ck 2-09, has been fully
validated through ASTM D6708 and ISO 5725 statistical
protocols, in comparison to ASTM D6751 referee methods for
biodiesel B100. For most properties, the QTA method
provides improved reproducibility versus the ASTM method;
and QTA can be used for analyzing all standard feedstocks.
QTA participates in the ASTM Interlaboratory Crosscheck
Program to ensure ongoing accuracy.*
