BANNER 8.6 CHANGES ON HR FORMS
NBAJOBS
Sometimes (not all the time)--when you are in the NBAJOB record for an SPA temp, undergrad or grad hourly (those
employees paid from a timesheet) and you are ready to “x out” of NBAJOBS, this box comes up with the message below.
This has not been a problem for us, but we want to make you aware that you could see the warning box and just
disregard.
NHIDIST
With the upgrade to Banner 8.6, NHIDIST is auto populating the “To Date” field when the fund, org, account, or program
field is populated. Ellucian does not currently have a fix for this, but they are working on it. It is best to remove that
date. Otherwise, you could get incomplete information if there has been activity dated later in the month. For instance,
when our EOM payroll processes, the history date is the last working day of the month, but that activity is available on
NHIDIST after payroll finalizes and feeds to finance (before the last working day of the month).
