Subject: Syrian Citizen Unrest
Noting that it has been approximately 4 years, 9 months, 3 weeks and 5 days since the
Syrian Day of Rage protests staged on 15 March 2011. Since 2015, refugees have fled
their countries in search for a better life, instead they have come across many
problems.
Alarmed by the number of displaced Syrian citizens (4.3 million) due to the Syrian Civil
War, and the influx of Syrian citizens into neighboring countries such as: Lebanon,
Jordan, Iraq, Egypt and Turkey places a great economic stress on these countries, due
to the fact that they house nearly 95% of the refugee population.
Bearing in mind clause two of the fourteenth article of the International Declaration of
Human Rights stating that:
- This right may not be invoked in the case of prosecutions genuinely arising from
non-political crimes or from acts contrary to the purposes and principles of the United
Nations.
Further reminding that the Syrian conflict began as an attempt from the government to
stabilize the country, rather than to invoke political conflict.
Calls For:
1. Calls upon the surrender of Syrian citizens to the Assad regime in order to end the
influx of Syrian refugees in neighboring countries.
2. Further requests the aid of other countries, such as Iran, to further calm Syrian
citizen opposition to the Assad Regime.
3. Invites the idea of a system of organized deportation into the quickly stabilizing
Syrian country, as will be created by the new government being drafted in the presently
endorsed Russian peace treaty (which calls for a cease fire)
4. Further invites that these returning citizens be deported with their belongings, so as
to ensure that their present manners of life be continued within the Syrian borders
5. Allows for States to further host these citizens for a span of two years, giving these
citizens an opportunity to begin their applications for citizenship within their desired
countries

while engaging in similarly controversial practices of their own,
Recognizing the scientific benefit posed by the fishing of marine cetaceans,
Calls For:
1. Demands that the ruling of the International Court of Justice be overruled;
2. Encourages the designation of World Bank funds for the communities affected

Subject: Climate change
Date: 25 January 2016
Concerned about the climate change occurring globally,
Fully aware of previous attempts to save the environment by United Nations
committees. The U.N. has adopted the Paris agreement in order to keep the rise of
temperature down and have it only rise about 2 degrees Celsius annually. However,
according to the international panel of climate change we are on our way to exceeding
that limit,
Emphasizing the drastic difference from 1957 to 2015 where CO2 has increase by about
25% and has not reached this height since our ancestors started to migrate out of Africa
almost 800,000 years ago,
Recognizing why climate change is such a significant problem. Climate change can be
unnoticeable when small, but when greater it is difficult to miss. Various effects caused
from global warming could be the increase of range for infectious diseases, increasing
erosion and change of rainfall, also the melting of glaciers and icebergs,
Calls for:
1. Recommends the use of renewable energy sources.
2. Further invites member states to plant trees and other vegetation to reduce
CO2, adopt the “for every tree cut down you plant two more” theory, and convert
to electric cars.
3. Requests laws to be set in place for each member state that will help the
environment.
4. Urges that the members periodically bring this to attention and seriously consider
the positive effects of any law set in place to benefit the environment.

Muslim immigration,
Fully Aware of the apparent xenophobia being expressed by Europeans such as
Maurizio Gasparri, the vice president of our senate, tweeting, “Islam brings destruction

extremely expensive and would cause many international conflicts;

deciding factor;

the globe, leading to a decrease in international conflict.
