Gingerbread Measurement!
We combined our gingerbread unit
with math! This week the kids
created gingerbread kid glyphs.
They colored various parts of their
gingerbread kids to represent
information about themselves. For
example, if they are 5 years old
they colored the buttons red but if
they are 6 years old they colored
the buttons green. We sorted our
group of gingerbread kids in lots of
different ways.
The kids also got to find their height
using gingerbread kids as a nonstandard unit of measure. They
drew pictures to show how we
measured our height with
gingerbread kids. Check out the

2. Buy the gift on the ornament.
3. Return the new and unwrapped gift to
the school office. It will be taken to the
Welcome Warehouse.
