AM Activities:
Umbrella’s, butterfly’s, Happy Harry plants (plant grass seed;
snip it as it grows!). We will be exploring how things grow and
what they need to grow.
*We will learn about different types of insects, especially
butterflies and we will watch butterfly larvae go through the
metamorphosis process in front of our own eyes in our
classroom!
PM Activities:
Make a “rainstorm”, ROYGBIV Rainbow. Butterfly Life cycle
art, scholastic magazine activity: “I see Seeds”, root
vegetables and how they grow.

Dramatic Play:
Flower shop, Garden planting/ Insects
Science Experiments: Lightening in you mouth!(pop rocks) Make
a tornado!
Reflect light with prisms, shaving cream clouds/colored water
rain experiment.

IMPORTANT DATES: Dream Shop: AM-April 12th, PM-April 26th. Dream shop is a group of
Japanese women who teach the K and PreK student’s Japanese words
through puppetry.
Goldfish Swim Class visit: Water safety class in our classroom
