Delegates and Allies arrive in Portland by 4 pm
REGISTRATION opens at 3:00 pm in the Lobby of the Hilton.
CONGRESS ATTENDEES GATHER AT HILTON PORTLAND: 921 SW Sixth St. Portland OR
2:00 PM OPTIONAL DOWNTOWN WALKING TOUR: IN HER STEPS
Tour description: Visit the historic buildings and sites where Oregon suffragists and national suffrage leaders
met, planned, and rallied supporters of the woman suffrage cause. Susan B. Anthony, Anna Howard Shaw
joined Abigail Scott Duniway, Esther Pohl Lovejoy, and Sarah Evans in making the 1912 Oregon suffrage
campaign a success! Tour begins at the Hilton Hotel, is accessible to all, and lasts one hour. "In Her Steps"
walking tour was developed by Portland State University "Monumental Women Senior Capstone" students in
conjunction with community partner The Walk of the Heroines. Vision 2020 thanks Jan Dilge and Century of
Action.
